Ever since i did my project on Soccer, i'm become a soccer freak!.. heres my take on the champions league..

It was simply SUPERB last night, the most exciting night of champions league football i ever watched. MAN u, can u imagine, winning 7-1!!!!!!!. Unbelievable, Carricks goals were simply superb, an absolute PEACH. However, being an ex-goalkeeper myself, i think the goalkeeper was seriously at fault for most of the goals... i know this.. once you let in 2 goals, you will feel absolutely sian.. your morale will be at an all time low, and you will become nervous, hoping for the match to end, and when your concentrating more on ending the match rather than performing, you will let in more goals!, this is what exactly happened. Its the psychological factor. I also feel Totti wasn't at his best.. i don't feel he is good enough to be a captain.. too individualistic.

On the other hand, Chelsea, yes Kerry i admit, were superb as well. Fighting all the way, except for Lampard , who was off form, the rest of the team, in particular ESSIEN, was superb. I wonder where ESSIEN gets all his energy from, like a superman on the right back, running front and back and front. As an ex-leftback myself, i know how tiring it is to run back and forth the pitch, but, man, wonder fitness!. Joe cole was good as well, dancing around the defence and keeping the ball when it needs to be kept, not to mention Shevchenko!, class act. Right place, right time. However, Drogba is a dissappointment as well, i have a very low opinion of Drogba, i think his goals are more or less easy goals, and those wonder goals he scores are just one hit wonders. Also, he uses strenght most of the time to instill fear to his opponents, something i don't really like. Also, for a person his size, why does he keep falling down!... At the same time, its really heart break for Valencia, after Canizaras did a superb save against Ballack's header. Magnificent, he really makes us keepers proud to be a keeper man!

However, i still think the eventually champions will be AC MILAN, with the PK combination, Pirlo and Kaka, unstoppable, kakakakakkakaka (get it?)

Mouth watering Chelsea vs Liverpool coming up, cant wait sia!, which one of these 2 will face AC Milan in the final?.. haha
